Open Research

Increasingly these days, funders and institutions such as Cambridge University have rules and guidelines on the accessibility of publicly funded research. Open Access is a fairly simple concept that can become complex in practice. Matthew Day will give an overview of what Open Access is and what it means for you as an author or editor of books and journals.

Matthew Day is the Head of Open and Data Publishing at Cambridge University Press. Over the course of 20 years he has worked on books, journals and scientific databases.
