OSC representatives are speaking at the fourth Research Evaluation in Social Sciences and Humanities (RESSH) conference to be held in Galway, Ireland on 23-24 May 2024.
Dr Sam Moore, Scholarly Communication Specialist, will kick the conference off with a Keynote titled ‘Commoning the humanities and social sciences? Open research and the future of our disciplines’, where he explores the possibility of researcher-led collective action for open access publishing and research assessment reform.
He will later be joined by Dr Mandy Wigdorowitz, Open Research Community Manager, in a session on ‘Open access and community building’ with their talk titled ‘Understanding the community-led publishing ecosystem at the University of Cambridge’.
The RESSH Conference is the bi-annual conference of the European Network for Research Evaluation in the Social Sciences and Humanities (ENRESSH). This year’s conference has sessions on evaluation, publishing in SSH, research on research, open research, open access and community building, evaluation in practice, policy and societal impact.
