We have an exciting and varied set of training programmes, aimed at different members of our community. Our training focuses mainly on Open Research practice and policies, the publishing landscape, and Research Data Management. Our Research Skills Programme is a series of webinars that run regularly through the year for researchers at all stages of their career, from PhD students to postdocs and PIs. Find details of the sessions and book via the University training booking system.
Our Research Skills Guide is a set of 9 modules to help you develop skills in finding, using and communicating research. They can be accessed at any time to help you develop your academic and information practices
Our colleagues at Cambridge Digital Humanities offer more specific training for Humanities researchers interested in exploring digital methods.
We also work with faculties and departments to deliver training sessions, events and briefings tailored to the needs of specific audiences. We are keen to engage with departments and faculties to ensure researchers are well-informed on issues surrounding publication, data management and Open Research. If you would like to discuss the development of a bespoke session for your department, please contact ResearcherDevelopment@lib.cam.ac.uk
